Copper Earrings Alorin's Dell

There is a quietness in the valley, a sheltered place where the world slows down and something gentle takes over. That is what I wanted when I made these earrings.

Each circle I shaped by hand, slowly working the copper into that clean, rounded curve. The width, the weight, the smooth polish, every detail was deliberate, worked and re-worked until it sat just right.

People who wear copper close to the skin tend to notice things, a gentleness, an ease. I've heard it so many times over forty years that I stopped wondering.
