Copper Earrings Alorin's Willow

Some jewelry you forget you're wearing – until the light catches it and reminds you. I made these earrings for women who want something genuine on their ears without having to think about it – each is hand-shaped from a single length of copper wire, formed into a circle, then faceted, tiny tap by tiny tap, until the entire surface catches the light the way only hammered copper does.

Copper has been worn close to the skin for thousands of years, and the women who come back to me always say the same thing: it just feels good in a way they can’t quite explain.

These are among the last earrings I’ll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find ears that will wear them every day.
