Copper earrings Alorin's Vale

There is a stillness in these earrings I did not plan, it simply came out of the copper this way.

Each groove I hand-cut on the face of the circle, one diagonally at a time in a row, letting the polished line catch the light against the matte background. Contrast was always the point, something a little wild contained within something round and whole.

People who wear copper close to their skin tend to notice things. A softness somewhere. A stability they can’t quite put a name to. I’ve heard it so many times it doesn’t surprise me anymore.

I hope these earrings find someone who values quiet things.
