Copper bracelet Alorin's Grove

There is jewellery that you put on and that immediately makes you feel calmer. I made this bracelet for those days when your wrists need something solid and stable underneath them - each segment is hand-shaped, the copper impressed and shaped into its round form, knot by knot, just as bamboo is built piece by piece towards the light.

Copper has been worn on the skin for thousands of years, worn by people who needed their bodies to stay flexible and their joints to keep moving, and those who come back to me always say the same thing: they stopped noticing what they once noticed.

This is one of the last bracelets I will make before I close my workshop forever. I hope it finds a wrist that needs a little calmness.
