Alorin Copper Ankle Bracelet

This is the piece people turn to when they want something they'll forget they're wearing - until they look down and remember it's there. I made this for those who don't want weight or a statement, just copper on skin, doing what copper does. The indentations on the surface are ball-peen hammer marks, each placed by hand - lighter and more sparsely distributed than on some of my heavier pieces, which gives it a different quality of light when the sun catches it.

The people who wear copper all the time tell me the same thing: they've stopped noticing what they used to notice in their joints and feet.

This is one of the last anklets I'll make before I close my workshop forever. I hope it finds an ankle that needs something quiet and true.
