Copper Necklace Alorin's Mesa

Some shapes need no explanation – they have been with us for too long for that. I made this piece for those who feel something when they see a spiral, even if they can't quite say what. The pendant is formed from a single unbroken strip of copper, hand-twisted from the center outwards, just as this symbol has been formed for thousands of years.

Wearing copper close to the chest – next to the heart – is something people have done in every civilization I have ever read about, and those who come back to me say they have stopped noticing what they once noticed.

This is one of the last necklaces I will make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds a neck that needs it.
