Copper Ring Alorin

There are days when your hands feel like they belong to someone older than you, and days when you feel they're yours again. I made this ring for that second kind of day.

The band is engraved by hand, each ornamental line slowly cut with tools I've had for decades, and I set two magnetic points into the copper the traditional way, without rushing.

People who work with their hands have long worn copper; I've never felt the need to explain more than that.

This is one of the last rings I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds hands that will put it to good use.
