Copper Earrings Alorin's Vale

There's a quietness in these earrings that I didn't plan, it simply came out of the copper that way.

I cut each groove by hand into the face of the circle, one diagonal after another, letting the polished line catch the light against the matte background. The contrast was always the point, something a little wild held within something round and whole.

People who wear copper close to the skin tend to notice things. A softness somewhere. A steadiness they can't quite name. I've heard it so many times it no longer surprises me.

I hope these earrings find someone who appreciates quiet things.
