Copper Earrings Alorin's Solstice

Some pieces move when you move - and that's the whole point. I made these for women who want to feel the warmth of something real on their skin every day - each disc is cut by hand from a sheet of copper, hammered across its entire surface, strike by strike, then linked so the lower piece swings freely, the way copper is meant to.

People have worn copper close to the skin for thousands of years, and the women who come back to me always say the same thing: something changes, but they can't quite name what.

These are among the last earrings I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find ears ready to carry a little warmth with them.
