Copper Earrings Alorin's Dusk

Some jewelry you put on at the end of the day and immediately feel something release. I made these for women who need to mark the moment work ends and evening begins—each one cut from a single strip of copper, hand-polished, then gradually twisted into its spiral shape until that inch and a half became what it was always meant to be.

Copper has been worn close to the skin for thousands of years, worn by people who needed something to help them reconnect with themselves, and those who come back to me always say the same thing: they stopped wearing what they used to wear.

These are among the last earrings I will make before I close my workshop forever. I hope they find shoulders that are ready to relax.
