Copper Bracelet Alorin's Vein

Some pieces are quiet about what they do. This is one of them. Smooth and close to the skin, polished rose copper with two spherical ends that sit right on the pulse points of the wrist. It’s a simple shape. Simple shapes are the hardest to get right.

I shape the bracelet by hand and polish it in stages - each pass slower than the last, until the surface reflects light the way I want. The spherical ends are shaped separately, mounted at the end. There’s nothing to hide on such a clean piece, so everything has to be perfect.

The wrist is where people have most worn copper. Close to the pulse, close to the surface. People who try it on tend to keep it. I’ve never had to say more than that.

It’s the kind of bracelet that disappears during the day and, when taken off in the evening, leaves a feeling that something is missing. I hope it finds the wrist that needs it.
