Some things you put on immediately make you feel different. I made this piece for the days when your wrists remind you they're there.

There's something about copper on the wrist—the warmth it holds, the weight that settles. I set the jade inlay by hand. A band of color that sits the way moss sits on stone, as if it was always meant to be there.

People who wear copper on their wrists keep wearing it. Forty years, and I've never had to explain why.
