Copper Ring with Petals Alorin

Some jewelry you forget you're wearing - and then your hands remind you that they feel different. I made this ring for those whose finger joints have quietly kept account of every year of work - the flowers are worked in detail by hand, petal by petal, the beaded edge traced point by point along both borders, the whole surface worked slowly until the copper holds every trace of the making process.

People have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years, and those who come back to me wearing this ring always say the same thing: their fingers don't remind them as often anymore.

This is one of the last rings I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it reaches the hand that needs it most.
