Copper Earrings Alorin's Willow

Some jewelry you forget you're wearing - until the light catches it and reminds you. I made these earrings for women who want something genuine on their ears without having to think about it - each one is hand-shaped from a single length of copper wire, formed into a circle, then cut into facets, small strike by small strike, until the whole surface catches the light the way only hammered copper can.

Copper worn close to the skin has been worn for thousands of years, and the women who come back to me always say the same thing: it simply feels good in a way they can't fully explain.

These are among the last earrings I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find ears that will wear them every day.
