Copper Necklace Alorin's Mesa

Some shapes don't need explaining - they've been with us too long for that. I made this piece for those who feel something when they see a spiral, even if they can't quite say what. The pendant is shaped from a single unbroken strip of copper, hand-coiled from the center outward, the same way this symbol has been shaped for thousands of years.

Wearing copper close to the chest - near the heart - is something people have done in every civilization I've ever read about, and those who come back to me say they've stopped noticing what they used to notice.

This is one of the last necklaces I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds the neck that needs it.
