Copper Earrings Alorin's Dusk

Some jewelry you put on at the end of the day and immediately feel something release. I made these for women who need to mark the moment when work ends and evening begins - each one is cut from a single strip of copper, hand-polished, then gradually wound into its spiral shape until those two and a half centimeters became what they were always meant to be.

Copper has been worn close to the skin for thousands of years, worn by people who needed something to help them reconnect with themselves, and those who come back to me always say the same thing: they've stopped wearing what they used to wear.

These are among the last earrings I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find shoulders that are ready to relax.
