Copper Anklet Alorin

This is a piece people turn to when they want something they'll forget they're wearing — until they look down and remember it's there. I made this for those who don't want weight or a statement, just copper on the skin, doing what copper does. The dimples on the surface are ball-hammer marks, each placed by hand — lighter and more sparsely spaced than on some of my heavier pieces, which gives it a different quality of light when the sun catches it.

People who wear copper all the time tell me the same thing: they stopped noticing what they used to notice in their wrists and feet.

This is one of the last anklets I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds an ankle that needs something quiet and true.
