I cut the diagonal channels by hand and inserted two magnets into the inner rim, a detail a retired carpenter once asked me for. He never explained why. He just kept ordering.

This is 99.99% pure copper, open-backed and adjustable to sit right where it feels good. People who work with their hands tend to find their way to copper. I’ve never had to explain it.

It is part of my last collection. When these are gone, I won’t be making new ones.
