Copper Earrings Alorin's Solstice

Some pieces move when you move – and that's the whole point. I made these for women who want to feel the warmth of something real on their skin every day – each disc is hand-cut from a sheet of copper, hammered all over its surface, blow by blow, and then linked so the bottom part swings freely, as copper should.

People have worn copper close to their skin for thousands of years, and the women who come back to me always say the same thing: something changes, but they can't quite put their finger on what.

These are among the last earrings I will make before I close my workshop forever. I hope they find ears that are ready to carry a little warmth with them.
