Some things you feel as soon as you put them on.

I made this piece for those days when your joints remind you they've been working – the feather is hand-engraved, each barb etched one by one with a tool I've had for thirty years.

Copper has been worn on the skin for thousands of years, worn by people who needed their joints to keep up with their lives, and those who come back to me always say the same thing: they stopped noticing what they used to notice in their joints.

This is one of the last bracelets I will make before I close my workshop forever. I hope it finds the joint that needs it most.
